I take seriously the protection of your privacy and confidentiality, and understand that all my clients or potential clients and visitors to my website are entitled to know that their personal data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them. My policy complies with UK law including that required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you contact me by email, telephone, SMS message or other means, I process this information on the basis there is a contract between us or that you have requested I use the information before we enter into a contract.

When you become my client, a contract is formed between us. During the course of the contract I am likely to collect both personal data and sensitive personal data. This will only be used for the proper and necessary performance of our contract, including the proper and necessary administration of my business. Any information you provide and everything that you say or do during our sessions will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be passed on to third parties without your consent except if required to do so by law or to protect my legitimate interests or for significant reasons of public safety. Your records will only be used for the purposes of healthcare treatment, and will be destroyed 5 years after treatment ends. To ensure that you receive the best possible standard of practice I will from time to time discuss our work with my supervisor, who will not be given any of your personal identifying details.
